The Department follows the College guidelines and organises:

- Mentoring- This is done for all students to understand the challenges they face at homes, society, personally or academically that hinder their class performance.
- Internal Assessments- These are conducted for all students to test them before the final University exams.
- Tutorials- Written projects on topics assigned by the Department are assigned and students are encouraged to use ICT in their research work.
- Seminars- Every batch of students are encouraged to give oral presentations along with PPT presentations on a set topic to improve their communication skills and subject knowledge.
- Quizzes and Group Discussions- This is conducted for all students at the successful completion of a module or the entire syllabus.
