Continuous Evaluation - A Note
Objective
Continuous evaluation is an ongoing process of assessing student learning, rather than relying solely on final examinations. It is designed to provide regular feedback to both students and teachers, allowing for adjustments to teaching and learning strategies.
It helps to identify slow learners and thus enable teachers to help students to overcome their weakness both in terms of writing styles and helping students to enrich the content of their writing.
The objective of the Continuous evaluation is to promote a learner-friendly environment, nurture confidence in students and prevent student drop outs.
Continuous evaluation is based on:-
Class tests
Repeat test for slow learners.
Class assignments
Remedial Classes
